How does the adoption process work?
Our process includes an online application and a meet-and-greet. We also conduct a home check to ensure a safe environment for our pups.
Can I foster if I have other pets?
Yes! We often rescue dogs that do well with other animals. We will work with you to ensure a proper introduction and match your home with a dog that fits your dynamic.
Where do my donations go?
Donations are primarily used for veterinary treatments, specialized rehabilitation, and essential supplies for our high-need rescue dogs.
Do you have a physical shelter location?
We rescue and rehabilitate from our home. Meet and greet visits are scheduled by appointment at a neutral location or the foster/adoption home.
What happens if an adoption doesn't work out?
We are committed to our dogs for life. If an adoption is no longer a fit, the dog must be returned to Stinky Paws, and we will work to find them a more suitable environment.
